PNB select rupay card annual fee charged

I have been charged an annual fee on my PNB select Rupay card for Rs 750+Gst. Although the criteria for waiver is "if card is used one in a quarter"
I have used the card for online transactions multiple times.
No reply to the email, on enquiring customer care, he told, it should be swiped at merchant outlets.
I asked for the same where it is mentioned, call was disconnected.

What should be my next steps?

Did you send email to creditcardpnb@pnb.co.in?

Also, how did it work? Did you have to pay the annual fees as part of the monthly statement and the fees got credited next month or did you not have to pay the fees at all?
I called again to customer care and second time the customer executive took the request for fee reversal and it got processed in 3-4 days. I didnt made any payment for the statement due and no impact of that in latest statement received.

PNBcard do it intentionally. Some people will ask for reversal and they will do it and they will charge AF to few unsuspecting customer. Cheap mindset from PSU companies.

CLOSED my PNB Select RuPay CC last week.
Notwithstanding the fact that I am an ex-PNB staffer and the CC's practical utility part of it, I am unhappy about writing to them for reversal of the Annual Fee. It's like asking for a bloody favour or even pleading for what they should have automated it ab-initio. Enough RuPay cards available now (unlike 2 years back) on LTF basis. Why should I still be holding on to this ? Good riddance.
