Possibility to get Debit cards without any charges in Axis

Is there any method to get Debit cards without charges in Axis Bank savings accounts 10k -25k variants? I have no need for a debit card as I never use it.

It was about the axis cards.... Axis issues two rupay platinum cards.... One normal and 2nd republic rupay cards....

You are right! Rupay Platinum DC is free for Republic account.

I checked with my RM they allow this card for basic accounts only and not for any salary or higher variant accounts.

Take value+ if you can, its worth 750/-

they wont tell.....there is a rbi website you can check....i tried for a month...they were telling to go to branch....this is the easiest way

But Prime Debit card is applicable for Prime Savings Account. Mine is a Prime Salary account and they provide Titanium Rewards+ Debit card.

But as I know.... Both the account variant and bedit card variant should be same to get the rewards....

Just had a conversation at my area axis branch. If you don't use your DC , you can just block it and there won't be any annual DC charges applied.

Instead of blocking of card, apply for ATM chip card (Lifetime free). You'll get Rupay card with ATM limit of 75k, no pos limit, no ecom limit.
Debit card sometimes helps in ac validation the call at ivr or something like that.

Use axis mobile app or netbanking... And use debit card upgrade option....

i have opened 25K axis and indusind account which both charges debit card. I have not used or set pin in these debit cards since i got the welcome kit and debit card charges have not been deducted.
