Possibility to get Debit cards without any charges in Axis

Is there any method to get Debit cards without charges in Axis Bank savings accounts 10k -25k variants? I have no need for a debit card as I never use it.

It should as long as you get the one that I've, not the @Extrovert got it, because on that one online transactions don't work.

Even the sbi rupay card is of same colour..... Its the most basic rupay card..... If its free... Then my next axis card will surely be this....

I've repeatedly and clearly mentioned it, on my version you can but his you can not.

I'm really not sure what else I can tell brother.

With respect axis, I was having prime salary account and reward+ plus debit card as free. But my account got upgraded to prestige but they didn't bother to replace my debit card and one fine day charged 500+gst. When I talked to CC they never reverted charges and I had to upgrade my card to prestige debit card manually which is free with account. Such a poor service from axis. SMS, IMPS and neft charges even for salary accounts 🙄

I think that's the a/c they have downgraded mine too. Like we spoke about it before, if I remember correctly.

When you ask zero balance account anywhere it's basically not meant to be used at all but you just don't want to close it. Unlike SBI, which is forced by government to have zero balance product for common people. 🤣

And secondly you need to threaten Axis people from time to time or make good argument. Or have an RM who can do your bidding. 😛

RM for zero bal. Hell they wouldn't even respond when we go in their branches wearing leisure wear. Unless we takeout 1+ or apple from our pockets, they'll think we are here by mistake.

Haha, I used to have RM in axis before downgrade, so things were easier for me. Also my branch was low foot fall branch, so they treated issues properly, or at least had free enough time to do it.

Obviously You transacted after 6 pm using net banking? And why they charged you debit card fees 2 times? Also i am not understanding sms alert charges here😔

BNA charges get applied when money gets deposited to your account through CDM (Cash Deposit Machine) either post working hours (6 PM probably) on any working day or anytime on a holiday.

The rupay republic platinum card charges are also zero.... But not sure it is only for axis republic Account.... Or for other variants too.....

You are right! Rupay Platinum DC is free for Republic account.

I checked with my RM they allow this card for basic accounts only and not for any salary or higher variant accounts.

YA.... These banks have given rupay platinum card a cult status.... You have to give special requests for it....... Dont know if that card can be applied online or not..
