Pre approved idfc power + credit card

Hey, I recently got my first credit card from IDFC Bank without any Cibil score, which is yet to be delivered. And today an IDFC representative called me for a pre-approved IDFC Power+ card (500 Rs annual charges with 500 Rs cashback).
So my question is, should I go for a second card so that it will help to build my credit score and close it before renewal?

Go slow and steady with credit cards.
I will advise against paid cards until the time you are well-versed with credit cards.
First take your first credit card and use it wisely. Don't fall for agents selling cards.

I have currently select card but I am getting option to upgrade it on app.
My question is If I uprade it then will I loose IDFC select card or I can keep both cards ?
