RBI complaint on Standard Chartered Bank

In that case better to stay away from sc bank credit cards.

Spend 1.2 l to redeem for sc smart is very strange.

Not sure with 10% offer but I remember I saw sc bank promocode in zomato or swiggy.

I think it is digismart,
Any positives on digismart?
I do see 49 monthly fee but is it worth ?

How do raise a complain to RBI ombudsman for compensation against SCB?

I closed my SC card in 2021, but SC still shows the card as active on my Cibil. They have also shown last update date as Aug'24 with 0 dues on Cibil. Last year around Sept'23, I had emailed them but did not get a reply. I also forgot about it.
Then In Sept'24, I have emailed SC support again, and they replied that it would be done, but on checking today's Cibil, it still shows.

I now want to escalate this and seek compensation from them for not doing anything for over a year. How do I go about it?
Is there an email ID for RBI that I can send a email with all the past email proofs and my Cibil snapshot or is it online?

I raised a complain on the RBI portal against SCB bank not updating my credit reports as cards closed and today I got an email from SCB saying they have received my complaint from BO. I have asked for a compensation of 50k since it's been a year since my first complain. Also I have started to receive 0 due sms for my closed card since Aug'24.

The email from SCB is as below..

Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for your e-mail.
We refer to your complaint registered with the Banking Ombudsman received by the bank on 14 November 2024 and acknowledge receipt of the same.
To investigate the matter further and address your concerns, we have registered a complaint vide reference number xxxxxx. We will try and resolve the problem as soon as possible. If we can’t to do this on the spot, our complaint handling officer will get back to you with an update before 17 December 2024.
Kindly bear with us in the interim

What would the next phase of action be and what can I expect to happen?

credit card ending with xxxx.
We would like to inform you that the card ending with xxxx stands cancelled in
our records on 31 May 2021.
We have arranged for necessary cibil amendment and the same will get porcessed
in next 3 working days.
Further, we wish to confirm you that the said card has excess balance and there
will not be any adverse impact in customer cibil.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and persistence.
Please feel free to write to us at head.service@sc.com should you require anyf furtherassistance or clarification.
We always assure you of our best service.
Yours sincerely,"

Now SCB has said they will update my Cibil within 3 days, but have conveniently ignored to mention the compensation that I have asked for.
How do I go about asking for this? Reach out to RBI again or ask SCB to provide it..
Also can someone pls give me the exact clause in the RBI guidelines for the INR 100 fine payment?

This compensation framework becomes effective from April 26, 2024.

The compensation amount shall be credited to the bank account of the complainant within five (5) working days of the resolution of the complaint.

Who gave this letter or note? Was it the bank or RBI?
RBI has forwarded my complaint to Standard Chartered Bank and the bank has only replied to me that they will look into it and correct my Cibil in 3 days. In my complaint I have asked for compensation, but the bank has conveniently ignored that point in their email to me. So who do I need to reach out to in order to make SCB pay me the compensation.
 
received call from Scb yesterday and sms after the call regarding my complain on double inquiry I had mailed them on 30th October 2024.

It goes another 2 to 3 months, be prepared.
