RBIO: Got compensation of Rs. 21000 from HSBC

Rbi have double standard with banks.. for sbi failed transaction, i had to complain atleast thrice to get compensation
Interesting.
How do complain the second time for the same issue? Do you mention the old complaint number or like a new complaint with same details?
 
How did you complaint thrice? What happened to the first 2 complaints?
two things i would ask for first sbi credit card bill paid using hdfc debit card and using unipay as the platform money debited and not credited to my card account and after multiple follw up the amount was credited back to hdfc bank account after 21 days have asked for compensation from sbi cards and uni pay they are pinting fingers at hdfc and hdfc at sbi cards and uni pay want to file complaint aginst the same who would be the party for the same hdfc or sbiunipay or sbi cards please guide, and secondly hdfc has increased my credit card limit and has done a cibil inquiry with out my consent asking them to remove not removing will complaining to rbi ombudman help they are telling hdfc cards thats the new rule implemented by rbi so no issue will loose the case for cibil inquiry.

I have recently taken a credit card from AU Bank.
Below is the link (which is advertised on every page of the aubank website)

The problem is that when I enter a mobile number, and fill in the OTP, the DNC webpage goes back to the same webpage and does not go ahead to the next webpage.

In last few days, I have sent emails and complained in Twitter. Also sent two emails to PNO. CS obviously don't understand this or don't care. PNO only sends standard copy-paste response to contact customer care email.

I want them to fix it obviously,
not interested in ₹.
Can we involve RBIO?
It is not an RBI problem, it is a TRAI problem.

First they closed complaint saying You have received refund on this this date, they ignored compensation part, Then I raised another complaint asking per day 100 rs - technically delay was for 38 days so as per circular, i should get 3800, they credited 2000 and closed complaint, so I raised once again and got 1800

Great success once again. Thanks to RBIO 🙏🙏🙏.

HSBC took around 2.5 months to deliver my addon card. Took around 7 calls lasting over 100 minutes and 3 mails. They kept sending the card to my old address in Mumbai in spite of confirming on call every time that address is updated to Kolkata address. They also failed to redirect the dispatched card to new address and card was returned to bank every time. In the process they also re-dispatched my primary card by mistake without any request for the same. After finally receiving the card, mailed HSBC for a compensation of Rs. 10,000 which they declined as usual, in spite of mentioning that they have recently paid me a compensation of 5K by BO order.

Next step was undoubtedly RBI Bamboo.

HSBC mailed in response to RBIO complaint and credited Rs. 1000 to my card on 12-Sep. In the response mail they tried to hide their incompetency and stated card has been delivered, however due to the delay they are paying a compensation of Rs. 1000 as a goodwill gesture. I replied stating please go through my complaint, all call date and time are given in my mail. Take out the call recording and see how you have harassed me for over 2 months.

Absolute silence since then, till I received the below mail from RBIO this morning 🙂

I quickly checked in net banking and found 20K credited to my card account on 19/11.

Wondering whether I should spend this amount using the card or ask them to transfer to my account. Usually banks ask for payment proof to transfer any credit balance from CC to bank account. In this case it was paid by HSBC. Not sure whether they will transfer or not, will give it a try. Last time they mailed me and took my account details and credited 5K in my IndusInd account. This time they didn't ask and directly credited to CC.
