I complain to RBIO regarding the delayed crediting of reward points and the IVR-related issue by IndusInd Bank. Earlier they offered me 1000 Reward points as compensation, today I received a call from Mumbai for Rs 2000/- compensation. She said it is as per RBI instruction. I claimed Rs 20,000 as compensation. Now what to do? please guide me.

Request you to share bank statement?🙄

Or bank details?🤣

As per RBI instructions lol, then why they are not attaching their order, why RBI has not conveyed the same.🤣
Utna confidence ke sath bol raha hai toh bro bola hoga but we log kya hi bole🤣

I am 99% sure 2k hi bola hoga BO, but khudse bhi info convey kar skata tha na 🤣

And also bank account details chahiye unko credit karne ko ya bank statement?🤣

Bechari se panic me Bank details ki jagah Bank statement type ho gaya hoga.
Nahi not bcz of panic
Because of verification purposes, as the compensation needs to transferred to complainant bank account. If you just type bank details, there is a chance of mistake. Also you may provide some other person's bank details.
Hence bank statement is asked to verify account holder info and accuracy of bank details.

They ask for bank statement to verify all details. Either bank statement or cancelled cheque. You can generate an online statement for last one transaction or even for last one day. They don't want the transactions, just all the other details that come in the statement.

When RBI instructs RE to provide the compensation, order is generally not released by that time. RE pays the compensation and confirms back to RBI. That is when RBI generally closes the complaint and generates the order and intimates the complainant.

so, it is possible that RBIO instructed to compensate only Rs 2000/-

Bro, I had mentioned the same thing and yes custom dated txn report/statement can be downloaded, though it shows txns history of that particular, what they need is Account No, main thing. Not only this, the statement can be easily modified/edited. 🤣

Better to provide them a cancelled cheque that's all. 👇

When RBI instructs RE to provide the compensation, order is generally not released by that time.
When such instructions is given to RE, it should be given with the time constraint, that you should ask complainant, bank details within 2 days and the amount shall be credited within 2 days of receiving said details.

The same should be conveyed to complainant and can ask the complainant to check whether the same thing is complied properly within the given time frame or not.
RE pays the compensation and confirms back to RBI. That is when RBI generally closes the complaint and generates the order and intimates the complainant.
This is not a good practice in my view.

We don't know if timeframe is given or not. It is internal between RBI and RE. Most probably there is a timeframe, RBIO won't be waiting indefinitely to hear back from RE.

I have no issues with this. RBI ensures the compensation is paid, and most probably within a stipulated timeframe too, and then reverts to the complainant. What you are suggesting will add a lot of overhead to RBIO - I don't think it is required as such.

Can you share the outcome of the RBI complaints? What was the order in each case? Please share screenshots after hiding your personal info.
I already Shared na..

First their response was just communication - that SBI has credited refund on so so date so closing complaint

So logged another complaint with Previous complaint number mentioned - and asked for compensation stating RBI circular number, then it was silenced for almost 7-8 week and one day, closed complaint saying SBI has credited 2000 Rs as per RBI instruction

So this time I used PM portal - from NAMO APP (I used this to file complaint against RBI during De Monetization - thats different story) And I mentioned that this complaint is against RBI because they are not following their own circular, few days later one complaint logged in auto with RBI, then again closed saying we have directed SBI to credit pending 1800. I dont know why they were in hurry to close complaint even before SBI actually credited amount

All the complaint RBI closing on Non Appealable clause

I have another case in Hand where I used highway delight app, which failed to refund me on time, Cashfree gatway was used, here they played trick, they are saying Payment was not failed from cashfree, it was successful to highway app, they were not able to process bill pay so they issued reversal so no compensation can be given, I am not chasing this now as I think this is technical loophole where they are mentioning reversal

Indirectly it's the same thing. 🤣
In a way, time frame, comply is made or not, too dependent if compensation is paid in time or not... that's why I said RBI BO should take closure from complainant at last when RBI passes order or RE aggres to transfer some amount of money as a compensation. The case should be open until the last hearing (reasonable time period) from complainant about the status of the compensation recieved or not, as promised by RE.

I was just kidding earlier. 🤣

But you agree or not, BOs are not passing justice generally, they know just to close complaint in no appealable clause. They don't go through the complaint thoroughly, don't care to to due diligence and all, most of the times.
