RBL is now giving away LTF World Safari/ICON from Shoprite if you are upgraded from Zomato Edition

One big news I wanted to share with all of you.
Currently RBL is upgrading LTF Shoprite to LTF World Safari if you got LTF Shoprite from Zomato Edition.

Whoever has it, just call RBL & say that the Reward Rate is very poor with Shoprite & I don't want to continue with it.
Also ask if there is any upgrade offer for World Safari/ICON.
Based on your profile there is 99% probability that you will be offered either one of them. Many people has got it.

That also depends, if your Zomato was VISA then your Shoprite would must be VISA
else same for MC

Edition Zomato cards were also issued in MasterCard. Only earlier customers were given Visa cards. So it depends on the card network of Zomato cards, the same card network will continue for Shoprite and World Safari/Icon cards.

I have an RBL PLAY cc LTF and tried my luck calling cust care to get me upgraded or changed to World safari ltf, they said they have no option to upgrade downgrade ltf cards. tol;d them I'll cancel my card and they said no probs, call them and they will cancel the card right away. Try again till you connect with good executive who accepts upgrade.

For me world safari is showing up in the rbl mobile app

Called them and said that I want my Shoprite card to be closed or upgraded since I found it not rewarding.
She said that there's no option to change card and said she'll accept card closure request and the same will be processed in 7 days.
What I did wrong?
*In the history of RBL cards, I've done my first transaction for 500 today only.
*Have one RBL Savings account with Signature+ card for CC payments.

It seems offer available for past Zomato card users, i also tried three times they denied.

Thinking to place closure request...

World safari shipped and got msg for LTF. Initial plans were to get hold of reserve, but with axis devaluation i think it is very good to hold world safari. You save on travel insurance (needed for visa) and also on the forex markup. Even one international trip would compensate holding this card !
