Recent experience with Axis Magnus Meet and Greet

I recently used Axis Magnus's complimentary Meet & Greet service for myself and family (wife and 2 children) at Delhi International Airport T3 arrivals. Booked online using extra ordinary weekends website.
- No communication from Axis until few hours before the departure from EU.
- Got an email just before we were to catch the flight. Then a lady called almost immediately after we landed.
- She welcomed us at the aerobridge with a placard (name written on it)
- Golf cart escorted us to the immigration point
- Hard to tell whether we were put in the priority queue or not, but immigration was done within 5 mins
- She then escorted us to the belt where a porter was waiting for us. Even though we had handed over the baggage stickers already, we were still asked to identify the bags
- The porter and the lady then escorted us through the customs. We were asked if there is anything to declare, we had nothing.
- They then dropped us to the checkin counter of the domestic airline that we were taking

In all, very nice experience. We probably saved 25-30mins time in total.

I read in Technofino that M&G service providers call just before few minutes of Boarding/Arrival time. May be these guys want to avoid unnecessary calls from customers.

I am also planning to use M&G just for an experience.
 
Ok this sounds great, quite useful for international travels especially clearing the crazy immigration/security lines in holiday season!

Yeah, though as I said I am not sure if they took us through some different queue for immigration. There wasn’t much rush, so hard to tell. She asked me if we travelled business class and hearing NO took us to a different counter, which was relatively empty

That’s possible. I had almost given up after not hearing anything from concierge service for 2-3 days. Most likely the assignments also happen at run time, so they don’t want to share numbers in advance

Makes sense. This reminded me that of 2010ish time when I first discovered lounge access via Visa/Mastercard 😊

Initially when I didn't know that lounge access are via credit card is free, was thinking that lounge are for rich people.

I was travelling for 1st time by air. Girl at the luggage drop counter upgraded to Business Class without requesting. Real fun started when flight attendant came to ask me about my choice of breakfast. After I made my choice, I was thinking during entire journey "Will she come with a huge bill?"

I just laugh at my self thinking about those days.

It totally depends on the airport and the class of your travel. If you are flying biz, not much of a difference. If you are flying economy, at some places they help you to fast lanes. It depends on the person who is helping you out.
 
My experience while using M&G at departures in Delhi was fairly average. No priority check in and passport control. Only security is through priority queue and one has to walk and cross the shopping area for the buggy. Haven’t used but read elsewhere that immigration is through priority queue in Mumbai - that would be a real differentiator. Also, no lounge access in Delhi if one is availing the service through Magnus as it falls into silver category and lounge is provided under gold (which I assume would be paid) category.

I didn't understand silver and gold category. Please elaborate.

Reaching the immigration earlier than others would have helped ( as you said you got a golf cart)
