Regalia Gold Regalia LTF to Regalia Gold LTF - Bank's mistake of words in MyCards app.

I was getting spammed with Regalia LTF to Regalia Gold FYF upgrade offer since almost an year. In hdfc net banking it is clearly showing FYF upgrade, but today checked HDFC my cards. And this upgrade offer is very confusing one. It says "Annual fees are not applicable if your current card is LTF" and my current card is LTF. Anybody with similar experience? Pls share your story and final outcome.

UPDATE : 12th NOV 2024:
They issued FYF card after appying for this upgrade. but escalation to PNO resulted in to LTF conversion. 3-4 other TFinas were also able to convert their FYF in to LTF with same trick. Check your Mycards app, if you are getting same words then apply for LTF upgrade.

in your screenshot there is no where mention of "Fees Not Applicable" like my screenshot. So it's a pure paid upgrade offer for you.

okay, i did not read full texts of first point in your ss . in my case it was mentioned as a separate point. anyway this is a misleading offer as they are not giving LTF as mentioned in MyCards upgrade offer.

My current card is LTF only as i am using since 5 years. without any fees so far. Took all the screenshots and applied for upgrade offer. I will have enough time to escalate and fight for LTF status on new Gold card, as it is will be FYF in worst case. new card should arrive in 3-4 days and i will update further how it goes.

It takes time, HDFC takes or extend week after week even for normal quaries, have patience once 30 days passed escalate Omb.

Things are moving in to proper direction now. just few days away from LTF confirmation it seems. and I am sure they will fix/patch their mistakes of words on MyCard app. apply now if u are getting same offer.

I’ve taken the risk and applied for an upgrade. Let’s see if the trick works for me.

You will get FYF upgrade. After getting card, don't activate it. write to customer care, followed by PNO escalation to convert LTF. Activate new card only after getting LTF confirmation, else you can cancel new card and continue with existing LTF card if trick doesn't work like me.

Start enquiry now, ask them if you got LTF card as per MyCards offer. No need to attach screenshot at this stage. If reply is negative then attach screenshot later for further arguments.

In OP you mentioned that you srtated this LTF battle because of the particular sentence in your screenshot. Now you say that it was a mistake of words and you tricked them to provide you LTF?
