Regarding BOB Lite Account

Hi,

Recently I opened BoB Lite account. I can see my account type as BOB ADVANTAGE_0_BAL_ACCOUNT. My branch was facing issue. Seems I am little curious whether my account type is in line with BOB LITE Account or not. If anyone is having BOB LITE ACCOUNT, can you please confirm it from your existing Mobile Banking/NetBanking?

I opened BOB Lite account without debit card and today I went to branch and applied for debit card. Now i see Visa variant in the BOB app. Shouldn't it be Rupay platinum card for this account?

Card Number starts with 431393 and its definitely bob lite savings account.

Sms alerts are chargeable. Disable alerts via app, you will get important sms and OTPs.

mera bhi ncmc show kr raha.... first of all toh virtual dc generate hi nhi hoga. But agr hojyega to 1 physical 1 v dc hoga

I've noticed that the physical RuPay Platinum debit card I received today is also being shown as "RuPay NCMC" (Physical) in the bob World app.

Exactly! I realized it just now while exploring their bob World app. I noticed that any beneficiary you add in Netbanking isn't visible in the bob World app, and vice versa! Yeh kya bakloli hai, bhai?

Also, their tech and overall UX isn't so great. I planned to create a bank account for myself there, but I am not happy with their overall user experience with the little time I spent on their platforms. Will post their full tech and UX review soon.

BOB has split personality disorder.

Not just that, there are more:

• When you tap on Transaction History on the homepage, instead of showing the "transaction history," it shows the service request history instead.
• You have to go to "Passbook" to check the actual transaction history.
• But it doesn't end there. You have to press on the "Refresh" option to fetch the latest transactions, if any. And against each...
