Reward points for Wallet Load Pinnacle Credit card

Do we get reward points for Wallet Load on IndusInd Pinnacle?

Also, is there any charge for wallet load on IndusInd Pinnacle?

I used Pinnacle now and can confirm there are no charges for Wallet Loads in Indusind Pinnacle
If we load 50K in Payzapp wallet using pinnacle card, will there be any charges? is it completely free or upto a certain limit?

and is it counted towards 5K fee reversal criteria?

First thing, payzapp charges for wallet load via any CC, 2nd thing, wallet load upto 20k is no charges from indusind side, after that 1%, so not a good move for your 50k spending for pinnacle.

Note: Whatever be it, right now most of the wallet provider charges for loading it via CC!

IndusInd has put a limit of 20k + Payzapp wallet loading charges - minus reward points + cc bill payment cashback if you count it, and total is around negative ~1%
That's about -₹500, you can take it as cost of acquiring Pinnacle as LTF, depends on how you see.

How much is RP for wallet loads on pinnacle these days ?

Indus works based on MCC and MID (both) and 80% of the time its 1.5x (amzn, pyzapp) and 20% of the time its 1x (pyzapp, pytm). But, mostly its 1.5x (or 1.5% if 1 RP = 1Rs.) for me, which is not good.

Amzn charges 2.35%, net always negative. Pyzapp charges 1.77%, net mostly negative even for 1.5x.

If you consider CC payment via DC RP then it becomes +ve,
not a bad deal to spend 50k to get pinnacle as equivalent to LTF

Any suggestions on loading wallets without charges or AGVs to spend 50k Pinnacle cc?

2.36% of 50k = 1180

to recover that using same card, need to spend : 2.5x = 47,200, 1.5x = 79,000, 1x = 118000, 0.7x = 170000 (when 1 RP = 1 Rs.)

If you think that BMS somehow works without showing out of stock, then its usually 5% value back = 23,600 (on movie tickets, which apprx. 78 tickets if each 300 Rs.)

- As usual no offers standalone for the bank, always with another bank. Most of them EMI only, which negative for the value back.

you can take it as cost of acquiring Pinnacle as LTF, depends on how you see.

not good, IMO.

Have you considered CC payment via DC RP in your calculation?

🙂 No, I don't include that in my calculation. For me, that's a part of the bank's reward program, not specific to this credit card. I usually separate the two: one to see "how much value this credit card provides" and another to evaluate "how much value my bank account provides."

If you want, you can add +1% (or whatever rate you're getting) to the above calculations. those are without DC RPs, currently.
