Yesterday I call sbi and told make my card life time free or otherwise close my card then they told it not possible I am transferring call in closing department then in between my call get disconnected

Always remember before performing such stunts - make a small transaction of 100-150 just after placing the card closure request.
Even if they close the card (which they won't) you would get 100-150.
Win win situation

Do not listen to what people write here....99% are telling lie that they got it converted to LTF by threatening the banks or SBI cards....In India, people have habit of exaggerating things just to prove that they are the BEST.

Do not listen to what people write here....99% are telling lie that they got it converted to LTF by threatening the banks or SBI cards....In India, people have habit of exaggerating things just to prove that they are the BEST.

In most cases, SBI do not convert to LTF due to card close request, i personally tried for my two cards last year, and they are ready to close card without much discussion.

So this trick rarely work in case of SBI
