Sbi cashback credit card application process 2025

Hi Team, anyone recently ( in 2025) applied this SBI cashback credit card?

Which platform you have used to application?

What was your overall credit card total limit from other cc cards?

Do we get immediate approval or decline on screen while application?

I have total other cc limits around 24L

Will I be eligible to apply? 🥶

My application got approved without any call from the bank which is really strange given this is SBI which indeed has a lot of verifications. It is mentioned in the sms that my card would reach me in 7 working days. Will they still call for physical verification, etc as I didn't receive any verification call from them asking to upload payslips or bank statements?

I applied on sunday night. It got approved today without any call from the team. I didn't provide any pay slips or bank statements.

I applied sbi cb card from cashkaro. After 1st call verification and documents uploading with appcode, after 1 week, same lady called me today and told that my photo is not clear (but it was crystal clear). She created a new application with my details without my consent. Application number is different than previous. I denied to comply with her new application.

If I follow the new application will I get ₹1600 from cashkaro which is autotracked and showing pending in cashkaro?

U won't get the reward. Because the rewards was tracked based upon the first application number. If you applied twice and the first one got cancelled then bank will not give the commission to cashkaro , hence u won't get it

As usual their "Internal policies". I think as I did not comply with her new application from which she can get commission, that's why she declined it.

I earlier applied via sprint for visa n it got declined then applied for mc and it got approved but sbi closed it saying they approved wrongly in 1week and its yet to be 90 days after closure.

Can I proceed now and apply for the card via cash karo?

Actually when I got my card on 21st, the embossing name printed as wrongly (without middle name). As per my knowledge,in sbi cards the card having a limit of 15characters even mine only 13 characters in total. Still they missed my middle name in physical card as well as in app also. So they corrected it with my full name and sent the new card as "Renewed" with same card number free of cost today .

Cashkaro will redirect you to sprint. So wait for 90 days.

You may complain to RBIO about card closure after approval and ask for compensation.

That's not possible as per mitc they have rights to close. They dint charge me joining fee as well but also did not provide the cb I had generated

Person called me and generated new application was not agent. She is verification person from Kolkata centre.

These people can decline, can make your application too fast to get approved also.

In 2024, I applied for cb card. But during on call verification I told her that I am no more interested in cb card. She convinced me to apply for octane card. She applied it on call. She sent physical verification person within half an hour. Next day card got approved.

Today also. My application from cashkaro is stagnant for 1 wk. But when she applied, I instantly received sms for physical verification. She told me that with in half an hour verification person will be at your location, tomorrow your card will be approved. But I refused.

Its such a shame that these people are resorting to tactics like this for gaining commission. But, did you ask her if photo is the real problem, why can't the existing application be updated with the new pic?

She didn't tell me she applied new one. She told me that photo is not clear and she sent me a link and told me that put appcode in that link and a physical verification person will come to take my picture.

I didn't think much and verified with appcode. When I got sms of cibil hit again, I found out that application number is different. Then I refused her for physical verification.

One thing I am sure that, they can't apply cashback card which I confirmed last year. The more scary is now I even don't know which card she applied today.

two cibil hits for nothing is seriously not acceptable!! Should have threatened her that you will be complaining against her. I think this kind of situations are more with SBI compared to other banks.
