Let's start with the basics:

There are 2 types of debit cards in SBI: Physical and Virtual.

- The Physical card gives 1x points (0.25%).
- The Virtual card gives 2x points (0.50%).

Now, you made a payment of 6000, so you should get 60 points (1x base for virtual) + 60 points (1x bonus for virtual).

You’ve already received 60 points, but you’re missing the remaining 60 points. Message SBI Rewardz support. You can find their email on the SBI Rewardz website.

Note: You will always get the base points, whether it's a physical or virtual card. With the virtual card, bonus points are hit or miss.

This is the shortest, I can explain. Just letting you know, SBI DC reward system is slightly tough than others. I don't know why they have made it complicated, but it is what it is.

Hi, I did 6k amex payment via billdesk thru sbi rupay virtual card. I got 60 pts , trxn done on 21st dec. Am I eligible for any more pts? and do i need to do more trxns for more benefit? I am new to sbi virtual dc, and new to sbi rewards so request if you can help.

Wait 7 working days, many times virtual bonus will credit within 7 bank working days.

for example - my 10th dec transaction, base points credited next day but virtual bonus credited on 16th december (but reward statement showing on back dates - 10th dec). If by chance not credited within 7 bank working days then send email to sbi rewardz support, they will credit the virtual bonus.

Will they call me aswell. Thing is, it's my mothers acc. Just enquiring coz if yes, then I will have to explain my mom abt this silly thing lol

Also mom got email on her email by sbi with this , does this mean I get 5x pts?? And is 5x pts only for physical debit card(which is visa) or virtual rupay card too?

Winter magic 5x reward points eligible for all cards - visa & RuPay card both but dnt know which MCC Codes are eligible yet.

Better to use Canara setu website or if you have huge CC bills then pay through all platforms. 🤣🤣

Bhai 69, can you comment again on how should spend on VDC be structured? 10k or 16k?

For a spend of ₹16600, you will earn:

- 1x (166) base points
- 1x (166) virtual bonus points
- 4x (664) accelerated points.

This totals to 996 points, which is equivalent to ₹249 or approximately 1.5% cashback on 16600.

---

For a spend of ₹10000, you will earn:

- 1x (100) base points
- 1x (100) virtual bonus points
- 4x (400) accelerated points

This totals to 600 points, which is equivalent to ₹150 or approximately 1.5% cashback on 10000.

I have already emailed. And abt winter magic, email says nothing, there is no body in that email with any info for some reason. It doesn't even say winter magic campaign dates like from when to when. However I found this on insta , it's a october post

Thanks for such informative post. One question, I have IDFC Wealth and I do lakhs of trxns (can be on an average b/w 50k to 3L monthly for credit card payments, sometimes even 5L but rarely), so How do I structure my spending? on sbi virtual or on idfc or both?

Now needs to know, Lets say I want to do 2 payments of like 53k and 17k, do we do 53k via idfc and 17k via sbi or does doing 17k payment also will incurr 10x pts coz in a month we did more than 50k anyways with 53k payment.

10K virtual se kiya? I'm assuming tumhe sab milega kyuki pehle bhi milta aaya hai 😂

So, 100 (1x base) + 100 (1x virtual) + 400 (base ka 4x) + 100 (virtual ka 4x but sirf 100 hi kyuki maximum limit 500)

Toh total points = 700, which is like ₹175

1.75% kama liye, reeech pinki 😈

Nice, aniket is saying there is some redemption fees you have to consider that in final calculation as well.

For me, SBI is just too good to be true in campaigns. In normal days, it's just the last resort of paying cc bills if you have exhausted every other options.
