There must be option to link debit card or vdc in App and you can then use it for scan and pay at merchant outlets. I don't use App. Only website. SBI ran offers in past regarding same.

Arrey bhai woh 3L Initial Payment ki wajah se account naa khol paaney ka keh raha hai. 3L CC bill nahi pay kiya usne. Toh kya over ho gaya bhaiyyaji?
Bhai IDFC mein kaunsi Debit card fee lagti hai Select account pe? IDFC = Sab Free. I know about FirsTap card since account opening. But not opting it. 30000 pts hai mere card pe toh kyu lena FirstTap? Also both my classic and VISA Infinite cards are active. Total= 38000 pts which I can never reach till there is 4L+ payment that only with IDFC. Anyways, no charges at all for any services incl. Debit card annual fee. No issuance charges also.
RuPay platinum ki line lagi padi hai 10-12 cards ki ghar mein. Toh firday offers mein 5-8 hi use hotey hai.

You can open online if you don't have problem using Aadhaar for eKYC or you can use any other PoI/PoA like Voter ID/Dl to open online and then visit branch to complete KYC. They give account and cust ID instantly before vKYC. In case vKYC fails just visit nearest branch to do it physically.
