After adding the OTP the next page got stuck and it kept loading and amount also deducted on card. When I logged in to the Unipay on desktop then there on transaction I can see the transaction details and the status is transaction failed. This happened on 18th October but I am yet to receive the cashback. What should I do to get it?
I also raised a complaint to the kotak about it. But still no updates from their end as well.
I mean I was going to post a whole thread on it. didn't know so many people are facing this issue.Many people are facing problems with SBI Unipay, a bill payment portal of State Bank Of India.
The Problem:
1. Few customers paid their credit card bills via the SBI Unity portal. Payment was deducted from their bank account (payment was successful), but the bill payment failed. According to SBI Unipay, customers should get their refund within 3 to 4 working days, but even after 10 days, many people didn't receive their refund.
2. Such failed transactions are not showing on the Unipay portal, so customers cannot directly file complaints on the same portal (you have to select the transaction to raise a complaint).
3. The email ID mentioned on the Unipay portal is not responding to customer emails. Even after 3 or 4 follow-ups, there has been no reply, not even an automatic reply from SBI. Customers are helpless and trying to contact SBI on Twitter, but still, their issue is not getting resolved.
Surprisingly, this Unipay portal is not a startup; it is a part of State Bank of India, India's largest bank (in terms of number of total customers). Such an act is not expected from a bank like SBI.

Don't forget to ask for compensation as per the RBI guidelines RBI/2019-20/67 DPSS.CO.PD No.629/02.01.014/2019-20 dated September 20, 2019. You can ask for Rs. 100 per day compensation if the refund doesn't happen within 5 days after making the transaction. Here is the screenshot of the guidelines

The originating bank - in my case HDFC, I also raised a dispute with them today, or the merchant bank - in this case probably SBI on SBI Unipay.I tested with a payment of 300 Rs from IDFC DC and the tx failed.
Have disputed the charge but was informed by customer support that it takes T+45 days for resolution

I Finally received the refund today for failed transaction on 24th March, exactly 14 days later. Not sure what worked email or DM to Bharat Bill pay on X

I even wrote an email to support.bbps@sbi.co.in but there has been no response yet. Raised transaction dispute with HDFC Bank and they replied today with the response that merchant has claimed that amount.
In case I want to fight for it, I need to show transaction failed screenshot (which I didn't take) or email for failed transaction (which SBI Unipay didn't send). Above all, I don't even have the proof after logging into the portal since there's no trace of transaction in 'Transaction History' on SBI Unipay's website.
Those who are stuck in the same situation, please suggest what to do?

T+5 daysi have 1.13 lacs somewhere in the air from 16th aug, tried sending email to support, no response, then tried sending to merchant sbi email, they forwarded to the same support email and no response. What is the maximum amount of days it took for the refund? 7? 10? or more?

Wait 3-5 working days for automatic refundI did a transaction on 1st November and it got failed, i received sms for failed transaction on same day, is there anything that i have to do to get refund
