Finally reached out to SBI BM and he said that is a good idea and why not upgrade yours to Wealth account and you will get the Rupay Select DC and credit card etc. which already @Abhishek012 updated here in this forum in Jan 😉

Anyway, smooth experience in upgrading my account to enjoy some perks on the DC and any CC which I will get with it.(some surprise may be on CC, let's see, will update)

DC came in, in the welcome kit by default.

Also any scope of LTF CC, if I am okay with a lower variant too.

There is no easy answer, go through each cards benefits from their site and see which one suits your needs.

Aurum is their top-end CC card and getting FYF is really good with Wealth but reward rate socks. Good thing I liked is 4 movie tickets permonth free for 250 each Max in BMS(not buy 1 get 1 like normal cards). So explore and see what fits your lifestyle requirements 😀

That belongs to government, not bank
Bank is just intermediary

Just ask them to try applying with code SRB once the account variant shows Rhodium CSP in their system

Hi, My dad who retired recently got a physical letter mailed to the home address along with a form to upgrade to SBI Wealth. Since I do not have much idea about it & he is little skepticle whether upgrading will incur unnecessary charges. I will be obliged if you guys can help me out with a few questions:

1. Whether to upgrade .(If yes which card & facilities to choose)?

2. Exclusive benifits if any that will help?

The account has upgraded to wealth when I opened Sbi IB site with all golden fonts & all. But still did not receive a wealth welcome kit or new rupay DC. How to get em.
