SC Smart Cashback Query

Can anyone clarify SC smart cashback related query..

Do we earn cashback per statement like Ace?? or Monthly (Like transactions are calculated from 1st of every till end of the month)

In website (Get 2%* cashback on all your Online spends, up to a maximum of Rs 1000 per month.) but not sure is it for real!
 
I can confirm that the cashback cap has been shifted from the calendar month to the billing cycle. I believe there was no communication about this change. My transaction of approximately 37k on December 2nd earned only 143 reward points, completing 1000 for my current billing cycle. I plan to file a complaint with customer care to see how it is addressed.

Has anyone received any communication from SCB about this change?

Nop, they are above RBI guidelines.

I also confirm SC moved to billing cycle cashback. Probably it happened when they assigned account number to our cards.
I also lost 49 rupees now. Need to do more transaction this month but now hold it till 16th Dec.
 
Is there a way to get SC smart card FYF? I know this is applicable for new customers, but I already have SC Ultimate and need this card as FYF. Has anyone managed to get this FYF or even LTF?
I got this card fyf also I got one plus earbuds for doing first two transactions combined to more than 2500rs. Using from 2021 ...my best card...will never close it till it gives 2% on wallet load
 
I will give a tip...my statement date is 20th . I always do a wallet load of 50k on 21st every month...which settles in 3-4days and then my cashback also gets posted and again next month I use only on 21st. So either be it's statement date or monthly I get cashback of 1k . I just see that what was my last cashback before doing transaction of 50k in the app and after 6days again see the cashback...I always shows 1k increased....

Upon review, we would like to clarify that as per recent system migration cashback towards card ending with xxxx will calculated basis on billing cycle, hence maximum cashback has been credited.

However, as service gesture we have initiated cashback of INR 592 towards credit card which will be processed within 3-5WD.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I would suggest to directly send the email to PNO and also mention that you will knock on RBI ombudsman’s doors if the issue is not satisfactorily resolved within 30 days.

I received the reply on the same day.
