SC Ultimate cc query

I applied for SC Ultimate and got my application in principle approved. I did ekyc, but the agent on call said she messed up my company name and filled it wrongly, which she realized after sending my pay slip and requested I wait a few days to rectify the company name.

But it’s been two weeks since she ghosted me. Today I got in touch with SC via their customer care, and they said my application was approved with a limit of 400700 INr and the same would be dispatched in 10 days.

I'm unsure how they approved without VKYC.

But without any email to me, how did the application get approved? I'm not sure where I will receive the card, either physically or not, since they didn’t reveal to which address it was going to ship.

update: VKYC done today and they said card is approved, will take around 7 working days to dispatch.
SC is damn slow...to be frank disappointed with overall experience.

@nithin1992: I still find it somewhat okay compared to my SBI elite, planning to close elite so opted for this.
 
SC customer service generally is very poor even for premium cards. Only good thing is this card is 5% cashback on duty free spends
I used SC Ultimate at Bangalore duty free earlier this year. Did not get any cashback. When I raised this with SC customer care, they mentioned that Bangalore duty free is not registered as duty free merchant in their system.

Statement clearly says mentions Bangalore duty free 😒. Raised request with Nodal officer and it did not help. SC is not as great as we think it is for a global bank

Yes not that great.
I had to raise a request all the way up to Nodal for reward points on the Joining fee payment. Their system tagged my payment to some other card and no one in their team was able to understand what happened
