Standard Chartered LTF Platinum Rewards Credit Card

Statndard Chatarad has started sourcing Platinum Rewards Credit Card under Life Time Free pricing.

This card generally comes with a Joining/Annual of INR 250+GST but under this special offer this becomes free on spending of Rs 500 or more within 30 days from card issuance to avoid levy of onetime fee of INR 250 + GST.

i have downloaded the standard chartered bank app and set the daily limits etc. the physical card is not yet delivered. will the card be considered as 'activated' because of my online limit setting? i have not generated the pin of the physical card.
reason i am asking is that if pno of bank denies ltf offer, i can let the card get closed automatically by not activating it.

even if this card isnt life time free, you should keep this card as annual fee is very low, also it is very difficult to get scb cards without income proofs

It should have only joining fee.

But, if customer care is saying that it is not reflecting in their system, then the agent didnt apply the appropriate code. keep proof and escalate as much

You cant know this. It is under official purpose. Just keep proof of LTF offer and escalate

yes, I would suggest all to get confirmation on their own email. because in case any escalation is required, you need an email that is addressed to you and the conditions for each individual might vary depending on your respective ntb status.
