Statndard Chatarad has started sourcing Platinum Rewards Credit Card under Life Time Free pricing.

This card generally comes with a Joining/Annual of INR 250+GST but under this special offer this becomes free on spending of Rs 500 or more within 30 days from card issuance to avoid levy of onetime fee of INR 250 + GST.

Sir/Madam,

This is with reference to my SCB Platinum Reward Credit card ending xxxx. I applied on 20th March 2023 and got approved on 21st March 2023.

Your website mentions that SCB Platinum Rewards credit card is being offered as a lifetime free card if the user spends Rs. 500 within 30 days of card activation.
I have fulfilled the condition by spending the amount afore-mentioned.

I would like to get confirmation from your end whether my card is successfully converted to Life Time Free or not.

Konsa gali du bhai? Bolta he Platinum Rewards and Platinum VISA alag card he. They don't even know VISA Platinum is a network variant and Rewards card is a card variant offered by bank. Frustrated ho gaya. Bhai apka masked card image do to.

don't worry.
though 'platinum rewards' is not written on the card, it is written on the welcome kit, just check. so you have a proof now that your card is platinum rewards. you can revert on the same email saying that as per sc welcome kit, yours is platinum rewards only. if they still deny, just drop a complaint to RBI. i hope you have not activated your card.
the welcome kit is a powerful instrument and has helped me get 1000 rupees (other bank, not sc) when i sent the inage of welcome kit to RBI as there was no other proof.
i hope you have not thrown away the welcome kit letter.
and the worst that can happen is SC won't listen to rbi and you will close the card and lose only 250 rupees. win some lose some.

You at least got a reply from PNO. I am still waiting for the reply since 1 month.
Truth be told, I am frustrated with the normal customer care as well. They dont seem to have basic knowledge of anything. I am not sure whether SC bank has an extremely liberal work policy or the employees arent paid well.

also when you log into app, it clearly shows the card as platinum rewards along with card number. keep a screenshot of that for future.
