Steps for getting invite for RBL Zomato Edition CC

Initially I heard from a youtuber that I can request the bank for the card but even he was not sure about the approach.

Step 1: I posted a tweet tagging RBL bank and RBL care team that I am interested in their Zomato Edition Card. The bank replied that it is invite based card and wait for the invite to get the card.



Step 2: I noticed a reply from Edition team, which I suppose is the official account by Zomato to DM them my registered phone and email address. Initially I ignored the reply since it was already deferred by the banking partner. But, then I thought of giving it a try and replied to Edition team with my details on DM.



Step 3: Exactly after 4 days of providing my zomato account details the Edition team reverted back and asked me check my Zomato account after 24-48 hours for the invite. This morning when I checked my Zomato app, I saw the invite visible in Money tab.

Step 4: Just provided my PAN details in the Zomato app and within 2 minutes my Credit Limit was displayed. I completed my KYC with the bank and within 30 minutes received mail that my virtual card is active to use.

I have tried my best to jot down the steps and all the necessary things which I did to get the card. Please feel free to ask thing regarding the same. I will be more than happy to help.

Which card did you get & what was the Credit Limit & when did you get it?

Honesty I don't know which one I applied 😂, I was in a hurry to catch plane, I will keep you updated once my card arrives tomorrow

Aadhar must have same address as friend address? And both will be diffrent obviously so will agent ask for same address proof or home address as given will be valid even if aadhar address is diffrent from friends address. Also do they visit for physical address verification

True, but this one comes handy when dining out, you do get 5% on offline dining as well, its just it should be recognized as a restaurant by zomato. I mean it should have relevant merchant ID, or it won't be categorized for 5% cashback and it will be only 1%.

Other than that birthday benefit is really good. I can easily line up heavy expenses there. For free card, its fantastic deal.

I live 100 km away from my friend's address, and my pincode is not serviceable by most of the bank, so I give my friends address for the same

Change your location in zomato app to metro city then it will appear.
For me I changed to Mumbai as my location was not serviceable.

Nor more that 2-3 hour if done within banking hours, maximum one day if done during non-banking hours.

I am no longer seeing the application thing in Zomato. Does that mean my card was rejected?

Yes. I did.

Card got approved. Turns out, if I am using mobile data, then application status is not showing. It only appeared after I used Wifi.

Even credit limit too. While applying the approved limit was 1,68,000 but after the card was approved, the new limit was 1,98,000
