Steps for getting invite for RBL Zomato Edition CC

Initially I heard from a youtuber that I can request the bank for the card but even he was not sure about the approach.

Step 1: I posted a tweet tagging RBL bank and RBL care team that I am interested in their Zomato Edition Card. The bank replied that it is invite based card and wait for the invite to get the card.



Step 2: I noticed a reply from Edition team, which I suppose is the official account by Zomato to DM them my registered phone and email address. Initially I ignored the reply since it was already deferred by the banking partner. But, then I thought of giving it a try and replied to Edition team with my details on DM.



Step 3: Exactly after 4 days of providing my zomato account details the Edition team reverted back and asked me check my Zomato account after 24-48 hours for the invite. This morning when I checked my Zomato app, I saw the invite visible in Money tab.

Step 4: Just provided my PAN details in the Zomato app and within 2 minutes my Credit Limit was displayed. I completed my KYC with the bank and within 30 minutes received mail that my virtual card is active to use.

I have tried my best to jot down the steps and all the necessary things which I did to get the card. Please feel free to ask thing regarding the same. I will be more than happy to help.

Yeah any advise what should I ask cause this time Zomato app did say take card for 500 rs + gst .. @souvikdey2002

I guess you will not get it LTF as of now as they have revoked the offer, as of now you can take the card, do good transactions and after 6 months or so try threatening Zomato to close the card if not given LTF 😅

I'm on second part of the application so should I just send message to Zomato edition help in the app where i got the info through and say i applied under LTF offer but when the process for approved the offer was withdrawn?

For online application, bank didn't even allow to proceed with the application . For offline one, no income docs

And nothing bad/insulting if a person wants to get a LTF card, everyone can't meet spend based targets. As they say, "Money saved is Money earned." Atleast I am all in for LTF cards!!! 🤷‍♂️

I did actually, cropped the image and said colleague of mine got LTF , he said no offer is made to me as a LTF

Your story should be starting from here.
Start arguing with that edited screenshot with conviction so that they will start to think if they have issued in reality.
Don't ever back once you started & prepare yourself mentally.
Remember this could be time when they started issuing the chargeable card so some people obviously would get benefit of doubt during the transition period & you could be one of them if fought properly.

Yeah I debate should I get the card and when I thought of i tweeted like it was mentioned which took them a week and no reply so i so forget and then again i did through dm this too to editon Zomato and that caught their attention immediately

But keep in mind that chat history is available in Zomato chat page, so make sure they won't cross check if you share others screenshot.

Can you use link this card to a different Zomato account?
Like I am not talking about changning the mobile number. Let's say, I delete my Zomato account. Can I still use this card? Where will I get the reward points? Is it possible to link this card to a new account?

Yes possible to link to other account, but you have to request rbl and zomato for this... and you know there service 😄
So better use same zomato account, in case you want to change, just email them and follow-up
