Swiggy hdfc LTF offer via swiggy app

Hi guys,

I see today a limited period swiggy hdfc lifetime free offer on my swiggy app. What should i do? Apply it from swiggy? Any issues that i need to take into consideration? Also, how do u confirm its LTF?

In Sale you can't get 10% Discount from Flipkart Axis. You need other Axis Credit card

it's true but they offer (5+5)% instead of a direct 10% instant discount most of the times

This and couple of times in normal sales except for BBD, flipkart axis card was getting instant discount. I remember taking it twice.

Received LTF offer sometime this week .Saw this thread and checked app. Applied yesterday and card appeared in MyCards today.

I have 2/3 orders per month from Instamart with Yes or HSBC CC as payment option.I've core card and existing relationships with HDFC Bank.

My SBI CB was rejected and later got email hinting not having bank account with them. So this should help me for online spends and dine-out offers if-when HSBC CB/other cards have shortcomings.

How many cards does HDFC allow for a person?

I have a core and TN Infinity right now. If I apply for Swiggy LTF card, will Marriott Bonvoy card be an option to apply if needed in future?

u can apply Marriott as floater card if u want.

Take it if u don't have sbi cb card otherwise not recommended

I don't have SBI CB,

but i mostly use my Amex Plat Travel, DCB and Tata Neu Infinity
For swiggy itself i buy vouchers on gyftr through Amex Reward Multiplier

So I'm really not sure how will i get any use out of this card

Will this trigger a cibil enquiry ?

Will getting this card now decrease my chances of getting another card from hdfc in future, like Marriot Bonvoy card or Reg Gold(I've been trying to get another core card) ?

Yes, as u already hold 2 cards better to avoid this card if u r trying to get any other core card from hdfc
Getting a 4th card from hdfc is not that easy so, if u don't need this then ignore this offer

i have HSBC CB , but for the first time this billing cycle i seem to have exhausted 1000 CB limit.
So used this card on instamart.i have infinia but sometimes i prefer cashbacks/discounts over delayed redeeming and grocery is such category.

Also, i dont shop much from flipkart so i dont accumulate FK giftcards ,hence, i have a plan to use this for low ticket purchases non-grocery for 5% off --more efficient than unused giftcard balances and i don't have axis FK or SBI CB.
Additionally, i saw video claiming up to 30% discounts on Pharmeasy on Gyftr with this card with upfront as well as cashback.
Vouchers purchase limits and tie-ups are more volatile so this can be extra layer for that.

I have limited uses cases for now but took this as it was offered LTF. This is a floater card and shares limit with core card.
By that logic i don't think this is unlikely to affect anyone's core card journey but might reduce chances of getting other co-branded/ floater cards.But I could be wrong there.
I am sure you know these things but just to iterate.Likewise you may decide for yourself.

I applied for HDFC swiggy credit card through swiggy app, After filling all the details, it asked me wait while it was submitting my details and asked me not to press back button or close the app. I kept waiting, in the meantime, i got CIBIL and Equifax credit inquiry SMS too, then suddenly it showed an error stating, " Sorry! Something went wrong! This is unusual and should not have happened. We request you to try again."

My question is, if i again apply, will there be another CIBIL and Equifax inquiry ?
What is the best course of action for me in such scenario?

The problem is you'll never get any core cards from HDFC ever after this, so don't take it, get a core card first

I mentioned this because some applications are getting rejected if they only have a co-branded card and no core cards.

I have the Tata Neu Infinity card and no other HDFC cards. In my case, I assume they will reject my application.

If anyone has been in a similar situation and was successful in acquiring the Swiggy card, please let me know.

I have the Tata Neu Infinity card and no other HDFC cards. In my case, I assume they will reject my application.

You need to close Tata Neu and get a core card,
Unless it's LTF then you can weigh pros and cons, decide for yourself

Though if you just want co branded cards, i think you should get Swiggy card with your existing Tata Neu, no harm in trying
