Third Time Lucky with SBI Card

Applied for SBI Card using Sprint Portal. For the first time, it went to an agent who seems to have messed my application as my office and permanent address are in opposite ends of the country.

Second time, I applied it at a mall. Gave address of client office instead this time as it is in same city as my permanent address. But, still got rejected due to lack of documents even though they did not ask me for anything.

Finally gave one last attempt hoping this time I'll get lucky. Applied using Sprint and fortunately got approved in less than 10 mins without much hassles or any documentation or income proofs. Only if SBI could improve its seamless onboarding process that I wouldn't have to make multiple attempts for it. Relieved that it finally went through this time! 🙂

SBI approved the card is a bigger achievement than the limit. Axis gave me 75,000 on Vistara Signature so I have no issues with SBI atleast on the limit part. 🤣

Apply through sprint it only takes 10 mins

1) One way could be to order the PP card only a month before you intend to travel. You will have a validity of 2 years from date of issue of PP. Not sure if this is how it works.

2) Between 500 to 4000, max 250 per statement cycle.
