Guys,

Wanted to change my RMN of HDFC to my secondary number from my primary, as I have HDFC Swiggy CC LTF offer on my secondary number and I can't change my Swiggy RMN...

So, here is my experience of changing my HDFC RMN, as it happens..
It seems I need to wait for 48 hours from the request time..

Steps:

1) Need to login to Self Service web site:


2) Provide , current RMN and OTP, and give the new RMN and OTP and authenticate via DC / net banking etc..

3) Wait for 48 hours to get this into effect.. We have an option to cancel this RMN change request within 48 hours of request time, just in case if it was done without our knowledge..

I received an email immediately and followed by another email after 12 hours saying that I got 36 hours to cancel this RMN change request,in case I changed my mind or someone else intitiated the change request..

This afternoon received another email notification.. saying that I have 36 hours to cancel the request ...

btw, why ?

If I would have to choose between updating number in Bank and Swiggy, I would have definitely chosen swiggy (its instant as well). Any particular reason for keeping swiggy number unchanged ?

Even though i hold 2 cards they show more cards on offer
Didn’t applied as i know they reject it post cibil and see existing 2 cards😊

If those cards are floater cards, then you would get them after a CIBIL hit..
Example: Swiggy, Tata Neu, Marriot Bonvoy etc..

But it is advised to apply for them via the respective brand's website/ apps for easier approval process...

It showed dcb privilege swiggy and tata neu to me
I hold neu infinity already but its showing plus
Anyways this express platform good for quick activities

We can't apply swiggy card from secondary number after aproval then update to primary mobile no?

At present, Swiggy allows to change Registered Mobile Numbar and email id from its app. After the change the old number/ email can't be used on Swiggy for 30 days.
However, in your case it seems they have permanently blocked the old number.

Also, One question. Do you have a Tata Neu card ?
In that case will change in RMN at HDFC have any effect on how reward points are credited to Tata Neu Account?
Tata Neu doesn't allows change in RMN if there is a Neu card linked with it.
