Using Rupay cards for International Lounge access

For people with Rupay credit/debit cards, how has been your experience getting them accepted at international airport lounges?

I feel like atleast for debit cards which people mostly hold them from PSU's, it's a very big risk. Nobody knows and they might be charged.
