Hey TFCians,

We’ve added a new feature on the TF Community today!

Now, you can mark specific replies within a thread as “thread marks.” You can even add multiple replies as thread marks, and view all marked replies on a single page by selecting "Reader Mode" from the thread mark dropdown menu at the top right.

This feature simplifies navigation by allowing you to jump directly to important replies within a thread, helping you skip any unnecessary discussions.

For example, check out this thread: Axis Atlas Credit Card Huge Devaluation Effective from 20th April 2024. I’ve marked 3 replies as thread marks.

How to add a thread mark: Under a reply, click on "Add Thread Mark."

How to view marked replies: Once thread marks are added, a new dropdown menu will appear at the top right of the thread. Click on it to see all thread-marked replies. You can also switch to reader mode, which displays only thread-marked replies, making it easier to focus on key information.

TF Neo & TF Buzz: Can view thread marks but cannot add them.
TF Select, TF Premier & TF Ace: Can add thread marks on their own threads only.
TF Legend & higher: Can add thread marks on any thread.

Cheers! 🥂

I believe "thread marks" has to be marked by the OP of the thread?

anyone (except TF Neo & TF Buzz) do this, and this will be visible to all members, including guests.
Understood, but the thread marks needs to be marked by the OP himself right?

Otherwise, I, even though not being the OP can mark anything on the thread.

Like in that example, you were the OP of the thread and you marked few thread marks.

Such a bad practice to steal credit of someone's post by changing the OP and date/time, to show I am the one who posted it first, but it reality it's not.

No offense, but it's what it's.

sorry...
Thread starter and mods can add thread mark. Thinking to give special permission to some higher level groups to add thread mark to all threads.
Yes, that makes sense.

As I mentioned, it would have been chaotic if that feature were available to everyone. For some people, certain information is important, while for others, it may just be basic information.

I feel like the feature is useful, but only if people understand how it works.

People don’t even mark the answer in the thread even though it only takes a second. This feature is good for "discussion/article" type threads

If possible, having this specific feature for that mentioned categories would be great.

Btw, minimum rank can be Ace/Legend

Only moderators can change the owner or date, and we have a log for these actions. If a moderator changes the owner, they must enter a valid reason.

I’ve done this at times to protect a thread, especially if there’s a concern that a member might delete it if asked by the bank. Sometimes, members even request me to change the thread owner to maintain their anonymity. Rest assured, no one is going to steal credit.
