Recently i got upgraded to hdfc diners black credit as i requested them to upgrade my money back plus credit card to millennia credit card. The problem is my yearly spending are nearly 2-3 lakhs but dcb card requires to spend 5 lakhs per annum for fee waiver as the annual is fee 10000rs. What should i do to avoid to annual fee? Should i downgrade to another card?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

No other option except spending. You can request them for fee waiver at that spend, but there's very thin chance of getting that considered by them.
I sent them my limit of Regalia card and told them that I have good transactions on it and usage is decent. Also, I wrote about my timely repayments.
I got my Regalia in April 2022.
Oh man, i also got regalia in april 2022, only issue is i have limit below 4L, so waiting for Limit Enhancement to get near 5L.
Anyway congratulation for DCB LTF.

Hi guys. My DCB card will be shipped today or tomorrow. However, I am not at my place and will not be there till 15th August. Is there any way they will ship the card to a different location? @TechnoFino @anirbanm or any other members here, if you could give inputs.
Thanks
mostly it will be shipped through bluedart and you just need to share OTP to the recipient. Bluedart happily deliver to anyone in that address as long as they give valid OTP.

Is there any way we can get the details of the HDFC credit card online? Details like CVV, Expiry month and year.
I have checked in MyCards app but it’s not showing there.

Can you share more details? To which email id you sent and exact content of the email skipping personally details please?

I also got regalia in April with 5L limit and I already spent more than 5L till now. Also paid timely manner so far. Do you think i can also get LTF DCB?

Check if there is any email from HDFC, they share some link from there you can see these details. I had received such email on the next day of application for Regalia, not sure about DCB.

Subject of email was "Your HDFC Bank Regalia Instant Credit Card is here! Start your journey of indulgence right away"

I mailed to grievanceredressal mail ID.

You can try mailing them. I first mailed to escalations but they denied. Then I mailed to grievanceredressal mail ID and luckily they approved. I just took a chance because I was under the impression that they don’t upgrade before 6 months of usage. You may try as well.

Hi all,

I have been offered Diner’s Black credit card LTF. Currently, I have Regalia card. I am sure reward points wise, DCB is better than Regalia. My concern is, whether it is an issue to use DCB at offline stores?
Also, what about DCB’s lounge access? How many lounge access per quarter? Has HDFC trimmed the lounge access for DCB as well?
Thanks in advance.

[EDIT] just realized that you already had a reply on this thread, plz ignore!

Please read this and see the attached images before falling for the LTF trap:

I have a mail from them stating that it is ‘Life Time Free (no annual charges shall be levied)’. Hopefully it is LTF without any conditions. The card got delivered today, but it’s still some time before I can get my hands on it.

Is it necessary? Because in the first mail itself they have mentioned it as Life Time Free.
Also, on which mail ID should I mail to confirm?
Please ask them to clearly mention ON EMAIL whether 'no annual charges' is unconditional or is it applicable only after min spend of 5 lakhs in the previous year. You are already following my other thread on Misleading DCB LTF. Apparently, hdfc has created their own definition of LTF*.

there is an emailid that starts with grievanceredressalcc or something, you can mail them.

Thanks, I have mailed them.

Also, I am attaching the portion of the mail in which they have mentioned the card as LTF. If anyone can discern whether it is truly LTF or not.

If anyone can throw some light.
In my opinion , the statement "No annual fee shall be levied" - indicating that it is life time free .. However, you can get it double confirmed from them asking whether it is life time free wherein the joining/annual fees are completely waived off without any spending condition .

i think contacting the bank people would be the best option to confirm this rather than us trying to guess the bank's intentions. see pics attached, how they mention lifetimefree and spend based waiver in the same sentence. and also how they strike off 10000 to 0 like other truly LTF offers but then mention that it is based on annual 5 lakh spends.

and again, do get it clearly on email. 10k+gst is a large amount. hdfc intentionally tries to avoid putting anything in writing, even the offers that are official and open to everyone on public website.
