No. Did you use the visa/mc version?

You have to use Firsttap Rupay Debit Card to get correct MCC.

I have visa. Not able to apply for first tap because my account is a joint account.

Many on this forum said Yes it gives but I didn't receive the points yet for the transactions did on 7th March. I know it takes time to get the reward points, so I will confirm once I receive it.

Flipkart also I have done 3 days back, but no point till now

Still, you can use it for utilities if you don't have any CC giving you rewards.

It means HDFC is now specifically focusing on stopping DC cashback for CC payments and their move to launch new debit cards is because of this reason only.
