Work address update in axis bank?

Guys How to update work address in axis bank. All the people phone banking branch chat support are clueless about work address updation.
*I dont want to remove any of my current address just want to add office address.
*I dont have any savings or salary account in axis bank only credit card.
Please if anyone know the solution for this help me.
 
I did this yesterday and received the message

“We regret to inform you that, due to limited access we do not have provision to update the work address.”
Hahah. Seriously the email thing is also just luck! Anyway, I finally told my home branch guy to send a person home, as I want to apply for another card (Axis Select). The guy came the very same day. I provided my sal slip and told him to put my current company name correctly and I want my card and statement delivered to office address. The card application is approved. The updated work address gets reflected in the credit card section on app/net-banking>>Upgrade CC or Apply for CC

I tried this two times. Both of the time they said they don’t have such access.

I was trying to change an existing address to a new address.
1. I raised a Service Request from Axis customer care - No result/They updated to my permanent address with Aadhaar details
I didn't follow-up for 1 month after the SR. When I checked work address again, it wasn't updated.

1. I called and updated the address via customer care. Rejected as I am working from home.
2. Submitted the documents through branch (Rejected saying that I have to contact cc)
3. Mailed nodal officer, pno, customer care.

and after long mail threads and follow ups, finally it got updated today.

All of these SR nos(except 2) are for work address update

I had a Flipkart card and my details weren’t updated. Recently I applied for a new card via branch. Made the agent update work, permanent and current addresses in their database. The backend team did it and I got 3 messages confirming the work , permanent and current address updates.

You had an office verification, right?
 
Yeah. An agent visited my office and verified all the details that I had mentioned in my card application.
If your office is open, it is not an issue. Just call and update via customer care and in a few days, an agent will visit and it gets updated.
In my case, the office is closed and i am working from home. So when the agent visited the office, he marked it as no entry/office closed or something.

Ok so in person office verification is mandatory for work update ?
 
Got my work address updated by mailing PNO. They took their own time but did it finally.


Can you please share how much time they took? In my case, from past more than a month, I am getting the same copy-paste response regarding visiting branch or call phone banking team from PNO and they were closing the request afterwards. 27 interactions total regarding this issue and yet work address is not updated.

- Initiate a work address update by calling the customer care. Spell out the address and raise a service request and then get the SR number.
- Take this service request number and send it to nodal.officer@axisbank.com or pno@axisbank.com or via https://application.axisbank.co.in/webforms/axis-support/LogAQuery.aspx?Level=2 (better imo). Explain that you are working from home and can't be physically present at the work address. So need to update the work address to the address mentioned in the said service request. Mention that you have attached the ID card and salary slips which mentions the updated address with the mail.
- When you mail, an interaction number will be sent to you. So during the future communication, mention the interaction number. Its better to keep using the same email thread during the replies or during the request for an update.
- Attend all the calls.
- Hope for the best.

Things to note:
- PNO won't update the address. They can(or make someone) approve the Service Request for updating work address.
- If the Service Request gets closed, PNO won't reopen and approve it. You have to raise the service request again.

It took me about a month. Initially I was trying to reopen and approve an already closed SR. Then, during one of the calls from pno office, they mentioned that i have to contact them after raising a fresh request with customer care.

Thanks for the detailed guide. Till now, I've called the phone banking team once for verbal updation & physical enquiry and visited branch with documents too only once for the written updation. I've been quoting these two SRs whenever writing to the PNO. I called the phone banking team today and they told me since I already have two requests in open state, they can't take a fresh request now.

Can you please also share if you were following up regularly on the email threads or you were waiting for the response from their end? In my case PNO usually don't reply for the next 2 weeks and also I had not been following up as its quite difficult to keep track of the interaction IDs which change with a new mail altogether. Also, I'm no longer receiving calls from their end. They called me up during the initial days of escalation.

Usually pno responds within 3-4 days. When it went longer, I pinged them on the same thread asking for the status on the service request and corresponding.
