- Initiate a work address update by calling the customer care. Spell out the address and raise a service request and then get the SR number.
- Take this service request number and send it to
nodal.officer@axisbank.com(this works better imo) or
pno@axisbank.com. Explain that you are working from home and can't be physically present at the work address. So need to update the work address to the address mentioned in the said service request. Mention that you have attached the ID card and salary slips which mentions the updated address with the mail.
- When you mail, an interaction number will be sent to you. So during the future communication, mention the interaction number. Its better to keep using the same email thread during the replies or during the request for an update.
- Attend all the calls.
- Hope for the best.
Things to note:
- PNO won't update the address. They can(or make someone) approve the Service Request for updating work address.
- If the Service Request gets closed, PNO won't reopen and approve it. You have to raise the service request again.
It took me about a month. Initially I was trying to reopen and approve an already closed SR. Then in one of the calls from pno office, they mentioned that i have to contact them after raising a fresh request with customer care.
