Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new card to complement my Infinia. The main goal is to increase the rewards rate for a few lakhs of donations towards NGOs (both Indian and International). BOGO on movies, and rewards on rental and UPI transactions will be great to have but not necessary.

I recently came across the YES Reserv card, along with the 3X subscription offer for all spends. The following is how I see the reward rates:

• 9% Points on Online Shopping (except on Select categories)**
• 4.5% Points on Offline Shopping (except on Select categories)
• 2.25% Points on Select categories

Assuming 25 paise per RP redemption rate, for flights and hotels.

The 9% rewards rate seems just too good to be true. Can anyone confirm? If it is indeed true, then why is this not the most talked about card for Forex transactions?

P.S: I don't mind paying the annual fee given the rewards.

Did anyone recieve spend based offer for aug or September month? Last I got was for july.. is yes bank not sending it anymore..? Earlier I used to recieve them every month(from april)

Yep, same here, they seem to have stopped it. Even hdfc didn't send last month. They have run out of juice.

Can someone please simplify how much reward percentage for education payments and for normal offline store spends for reserv 3x?

For education payment, rewards rate is 2.25% and for offline spends on other than select categories, it is 4.5%, if redeemed for flight booking

I stopped calculating points for every transaction after the 1st month. Now I only calculate for larger transaction and tally it.

Very easy to calculate. I only do 4-5 large transaction after verifying the correct mcc merchant. If doubtful I use sbi cb. So no hassle for me.

Yes. Government transactions provide rewards under select category

What are cancellation charges? Do u have to pay it or equivalent reward points are deducted?

didn't tried but these are the tncs. and red marked as per airline policy. reward points reversed after all adjustments.

Right, I also checked this. So, this 3150 is not real thing. I booked air india and it shows 4000 cancellation fee on cleartrip and its official site. So, I assume that's what will be charged per passenger. And yes bank will charge 400 per passenger extra.

I assume as yes bank didn't charge convinience fee, it won't be deducted on refund either. So, 5000x5 booking will give back 600x5 worth of reward points.

yes.. normal airline chgs.. quite high chgs.. the issue is that it is not one click.. u have to call.. they will take request.. then they will call back with chgs.. then you will confirm.. then they will cancel.. v v cumbersome.. exactly opposite of how easy it was to book
