Is the autopay not working? I have two cards which are showing as scheduled for 29th and 30th October but nothing has been deducted till now.
yes my BOB card payment didnt happen..due date 1st nov.. so i paid manually now
icici sappiro payment done automatically today.. due date is 2nd Nov
 
Today 2 payments of Rs 9064 and Rs 59736 got failed and only 1 payment of Rs 5692 got processed

Reason: card status/limit

Same issue here, bill of around 55k failed citing same reason. Is there some additional step one need to do to pay larger amt cc bills via smartpay?

@donisback7 Did you check you had sufficient balance in the acc when payments failed?

Same problem here. Both Axis Bank credit card payments failed citing same reason.
Reason : card status/limit

Total combined bill of both axis cards is less than Rs.18K and debit card limit is much higher.
Last month payments got deducted for same Axis Bank credit card biller via Smartpay.
So card status/limit seems like a bogus reason.

I will raise separate complaints for each failed payment despite standing instructions.

As many of you know, I am the last person who would appreciate HDFC. And, NOT even the last person who like their Chennai CC dept.

But, they have been paying ALL my CC bills, for the last 3+ years - except only 2 times. Probably, due to technical reasons at the receiving banks end. Even high value (1L+) bills were also paid without any problem. Over 20 CC bills n 4 electricity bills. Never had any problem (except on those 2 times - informed via SMS n eMail well in advance - 2 days before the due date. I paid them manually with a day to spare).
 
A 12K bill of Axis Airtel processed day before yesterday.

Today 2 bills failed, Axis FK (4K) and IndusInd EDP (1K)

Reason in email: Error in processing the payment.

Reason in SMS: card status/limit.

Yes I also got my Axis bill failed with same reason in SMS. Looks like HDFC never disappoint by occasionally having such bill payment issues.
 
Same, bill payment for Airtel Axis of 30k has failed with a reason as card status/limit but CC bill payment for Axis FK of 20k processed successfully and instantly got rp.

I just updated limit but will any of the below works?
1)Does smartpay will do second attempt?
2)If we remove biller and add again does it re-attempt?

anyone resolved this issue?

Generally Smartpay will not attempt again but I vaguely remember someone saying it attempted 1 or 2 days later due to that time hdfc glitch. But my personal suggestion just pay the bill using any other way instead of waiting.
Once biller is re-added it need to fetch bill which happens only when next bill is generated.

It's different for Axis & IndusInd. My Axis & IndusInd bills were the only ones fetched and scheduled after the bill was generated.
Explanation:
Bill generated on 15th Sept
I setup for the first time on 27th Sept
Bill was fetched on 28th or 29th Sept morning
And scheduled for payment on 30th morning
Payment occurred on 30th & got points as well
But this case doesn't work for ICICI. That has to be in place before the bill is generated

Also for an Axis card
Error occurred because when the bill was generated the amount was more than the limit
So I deleted the biller and re-added
And the bill was re-fetched and then scheduled
Payment went through and I got points too

Today I deleted the Axis one that failed this morning and re-added. Actually, I deleted all 3 Axis ones today. Hopefully they will be fetched again tomorrow or the day after
