I received an email from Wyndham stating that my status match with Best Western was successfully completed. I've been upgraded to the Diamond level in Wyndham Rewards. To keep this status, I need to complete 10 nights within the next 90 days.
Honestly, I don't think I can manage to stay 10 nights in that timeframe. You might want to consider using the Mastercard trick instead...

Hotel chains popular in India (Taj, ITC, Hilton, Hyatt, Mariott) aren't giving status equivalence, unfortunately.
i have an account with kotak and have a high relationship value. i have asked my RM to arrange Taj Epicure membership for me. im still waiting to get it. if you have such connections, you should give it a try!
Hilton has status match program from almost all other hotel chains https://www.hiltonhonors.com/en_US/status-match/landing/
but they wlll ask proof of stay along with proof of status

Out of all these, are you talking about getting Platinum tier? Coz theres nothing called Platinum Elite. Pls confirm.
I anyways have Platinum Tier via Wyndham Diamond but yeah one can use BestWesternRewards also.

Yeah sadly no Proof of stay! 🙁 Just elite tier memberships with other hotel chains! Maybe one can actually stay in Hilton just for the sake of status match.

Of course it will help. But have u the raddison blu membership, if u have just click the link provided and enter details asked and it will get upgraded. If u r not a member download the raddison blu app and register and upgrade it. And u can book.
Even otherwise raddison blu offers are good as base members too.

There is a clause in the link for first time 2yrs as vip member if u register. Iam not sure the link may work now. Else if you want a premium status then you will have to apply for Amex Platinum Charge Card this gives you host of hotel Memberships. Hilton Gold marriot gold raddison blu premium status post card member ship, silver all accor travel plan membership plus Taj Epicure plus membership which gives you 25% discount on Food and beverages and stays needs to be booked calling amex concierge, plus 50%discount in oberoi on booking 2 days stay in suites. but mind it membership fee of amex plat charge card is 78k plus taxes which may come too 88k in total. Plus charge cards are not credit cards once due date comes u would have to clear in full. Else you can apply for amex reserve which also gi e Taj epicure
