Hi guys here is my small contribution to the amazing technofino comunity
I present you an App to scan UPI QR Codes and get the MCC code
and Yes I will be adding more features later
Do try and let me know how can we improve it

Here is the version 2

Change Log
1) added the ability to switch on/off the flashlight (no web support)
2) switch between front and back camera (works on the web)
3) Scan files from Gallery (no web support)
4) Added description for the MCC code (works on the web)
5) Can now open the UPI apps directly from app (works on the web for android)

Change Log
1)Added support to store the scanned QR (works on the web)
2)Update scanner for faster scan

Some features are Android app only as there is no support for direct web app
Uninstall old app and install new version

Great! what's the source of the MCC? is that available in the QR code? Or do you decide based on the Merchant name?

Dont have a list to match it with for now will be adding it soon right now it just breaks the link and get the mcc code from it

Your initiative is very commendable. This is the pdf to match every possible MCC out there. I'll try to get an excel sheet if I can.

Check if it works if QR code contains the information it should give you the info if you try on personal QR it won't work
Even lot of shops uses personal QR

Any App for ios ?

For ios app we need a mac pc to build the app and publish to app store
also pay 100$ fee for publishing it to app store

Check if it works if QR code contains the information it should give you the info if you try on personal QR it won't work

I also have Nokia lumia 950XL.
For your kind information, this app will work on windows store i.e. on each and every device running windows in this world if developed and published in windows store.
