They aren't sticking to single date.

Hi @SSV
Weird pattern for SBI Card
Three times reporting in a month
1. Due Date + 3 days (Old pattern)
2. 15th
3. 30/31 (30th January reported for me)

Surprisingly CIBIL processed SBI's reporting in 3 days.

Similar weird pattern noticed for Axis Neo CC reporting, apart from 15th and 30/31 Axis Neo also got reported on 22nd which is statement date.. but can't be sure of this. Will need to wait because Axis Ace and Airtel is not updated (billing date is 25th for Ace and Airtel).

yes SBI simply added 15th and Month end to existing system which is a good thing as per me

@SSV Surprise, surprise! SBI has come up with a new twist!

I just noticed that SBI has again reported to CIBIL in its usual pattern—due date + 3 days. They have reported on 25-01-2025 with my statement balance of 02-01-2025 (my statement date) as the current balance, which is their regular reporting style.

Interestingly, they also recently reported on 15-01-2025 with the outstanding balance reflecting settled transactions. So now, SBI has reported two different balances:
  1. 15th of the month: Outstanding balance (settled transactions).
  2. Due date + 3 days: Statement balance (backdated to the 15th of the month).
If this continues, it seems SBI might start reporting three times a month:
  1. 15th
  2. 30/31st (month-end reporting)
  3. Due date + 3 days
This is getting interesting! Let’s see if they maintain this new pattern.
This above reply was correct. Three times reporting pattern by SBI.

Pehle 3 3 months tak 1 bhi reporting nahi karte the.. ab majburi me 1 month me 3 3 baar kar rahe hai

@SSV
As expected, SBI Card reported to CIBIL again on 30-01-2025!

That means they’ve now reported three times in January:
1️⃣ 15-01-2025
2️⃣ 25-01-2025 (Due date + 3 days)
3️⃣ 30-01-2025

Not sure how long SBI Card will continue this 3-times-a-month reporting pattern, but it’s definitely making it harder to maintain a low utilization rate consistently. Our homework for managing utilization just got more complicated!

Let’s see if this trend continues in February. 🤔

Update: [03-02-2025]
SBI 15th and then 30th = Pattern 15+15 days
RBL 15th and 31st = Pattern 15th and month end

PS: my assumption: sbi 3 times reporting was a transition period, reporting at old pattern (due+3 days) then January 15th+15 days which is 30th January. Here old pattern brought December 2024 statment balances at Due+3days irrespective of any balance after that but before 30th January 2025. So conclusion is after 30th January 2025 SBI will only report every 15 days i.e. 15th feb then 3rd march instead of 28th Feb.

Icici reported on 20th January. Earlier it was statement generation date 28th for me. They neither went for 15th nor month end, weird.
