Guys,
We already know that the new norms of cibil reporting comes into place w.e.f 1 Jan 2025.
As per the new rules ,the banks and other financial institutions should report outstanding balances of loans and credit card accounts atleast every fortnight. In this regard some banks adopted fortnightly and some adopted weekly reporting.
Let's collate the list of various banks with their frequency of reporting here in this thread..
The following is the list of Banks with their respective frequency and reporting dates in a month:
We will add more banks to this list as and when the information is available...

Weekly ( Four times, a month)
  1. HDFC
    • 7th
    • 15th
    • 22nd
    • 30/31st ( ie month end)

Fortnightly ( Two times, a month )
  1. Statement Date and Statement Date + 15 days
    • Amex

  2. 15th and month end ( 30/31)
    • Axis
    • BOB Cards
    • Yes Bank

Although ICICI and IDFC started reporting more frequently (although ICICI is not yet verified with confidence) they are two of the laziest banks to update across the CICs.

what is the impact on cibil score for these multiple reportings?
no impact, your dues, defaults and payments will be reflected faster.

There are few specific scenarios occurs they are only for Super Powers users and most of the active folks here on this thread are those.

Hi @SSV
Weird pattern for SBI Card
Three times reporting in a month
1. Due Date + 3 days (Old pattern)
2. 15th
3. 30/31 (30th January reported for me)

Surprisingly CIBIL processed SBI's reporting in 3 days.

Similar weird pattern noticed for Axis Neo CC reporting, apart from 15th and 30/31 Axis Neo also got reported on 22nd which is statement date.. but can't be sure of this. Will need to wait because Axis Ace and Airtel is not updated (billing date is 25th for Ace and Airtel).
SBI is not yet updated in the first post yet @SSV please do the needful we have enough confirmations for the same.

But it has been very inconsistent..with regard to SBI
My last report was as on 30/01.. not 31/01.. what do you say about this??
With this my score was reduced by 11 points, even though I cleared my balance on 30/01.. still they didn’t count this.. God knows how these guys work…
Let’s wait for one more month, I would say !!

What is the criteria of 30th?? There won’t be any 20th in February?? Right ??
It has to be month end…
Let’s wait for one or two months we may get clarity.. I can put the above values in the first post mentioning it as tentative…

Another important glaring omission was :
Amex didn’t report twice last month.. they reported only once is as on statement date.. very strange.. they were the first one who declared about these fortnightly reporting and they didn’t comply with it.. very very unlike Amex.. they must also be getting used to Indian standards, may be !!

With this what i have understood is
1. Due date + 3 days
2. 15th
3. 30th

It will be interesting to see in Feb as said by SSV.. It could be 1st March or 28th February.

isn't sapphiro and emeralde basically same gemstone cards? why are they being reported seperately?

ICICI reported on 31st January for My Coral and Apay
Yes my account was also reprted twice last month for the Gem stone cards account..
that was as on 20/01 and 31/01... but my APay account was still as on statement generation date.. ( ie. 02/12/2024) ..
