Guys,
We already know that the new norms of cibil reporting comes into place w.e.f 1 Jan 2025.
As per the new rules ,the banks and other financial institutions should report outstanding balances of loans and credit card accounts atleast every fortnight. In this regard some banks adopted fortnightly and some adopted weekly reporting.
Let's collate the list of various banks with their frequency of reporting here in this thread..
The following is the list of Banks with their respective frequency and reporting dates in a month:
We will add more banks to this list as and when the information is available...

    • 7th
    • 15th
    • 22nd
    • 30/31st ( ie month end)

Although ICICI and IDFC started reporting more frequently (although ICICI is not yet verified with confidence) they are two of the laziest banks to update across the CICs.
My IDFC accounts were reported as on 15/01 latest now..

Guys,
Shall I add IDFC to 15h and month end list now?? any more inputs from some more people??

Mine was also updated on 15th. Looks like they will follow 15th and month end pattern.

This is for NBFCs
Piramal Finance
SMFG India Credit
These 2 have reported last on 15th January.
Navi Finserv - reported 15th Jan then 31st Jan.

Also SSV mention PNB in 15th and 31st category.

Ok So STANC Reported on 15/01/2025. Earlier was different for sure.

And Surprisingly ICICI reported again on 31/01/2025 i.e. month end . Earlier was only bill gen date. Seems like icici catching up wid others. @SSV
They will and they have to .. probably by mid March we should get more clarity of the majority of the Banks.

Another important glaring omission was :
Amex didn’t report twice last month.. they reported only once is as on statement date.. very strange.. they were the first one who declared about these fortnightly reporting and they didn’t comply with it.. very very unlike Amex.. they must also be getting used to Indian standards, may be !!
Amex:

1. Statement date
2. Statement date + 15days

As someone already posted about sbi reporting again on due+ 3 days and let's see if they report twice apart from this old pattern then this will be set as new pattern

But surprisingly icici gemstone cards not reported for me except amazon pay card (20-01-25), gemstone cards last report in November 2024.

interesting to know i closed 7-8 cards this month, like 1st week of feb and hdfc, icici, federal bank have closed the cards on cibil but the reporting date is of jan when the cards were active. I guess while closing cards on cibil doesn't matter reporting. Does everyone know this?
