I already have cc biller in billpay from few years but i was not paying it since deval, if i just enable smart pay now i can use same biller for rp? Cuz i think if i delete biller now n create new it will take atleast a weeks time to verify, but my bill is due on 10th so dont have time

Its a hit and try. Its a glitch.
the chances are less as the bill would have been generated.
 
The CC bill would have already been generated by now.
It automatically gets scheduled within 2 on HDFC billpay.
I think you missed a word? Within 2 days? Weeks? What? Also, now that i have enabkes smart pay, if i pay the bill on some other platform, will it get paid twice due to auto pay of smartpay? Or will smart pay detect bill already paid somewhere else? As in do i need to manually stop the auto pay if im paying the bill elsewhere

Corrected. Its 2 days.
Not sure what happens if the bill is already paid via another platform. Most probably if 'Bharat Bill Payment System' recognizes that the bill is already paid, then double payment should not go.
 
No. I just registered SmartPay this month.
It seems like the system is detecting last month's bill, which has already been paid (via Unipay), while trying to make a manual payment test.

Statement says

Ref Num: *****818****

Tried searching for HDFCBPBBAND in this forum and couldn't find any hit.

Of course it's only been 1 business day (Monday/ 3rd march) after the transaction so I know it's too early to tell, but anyone has any idea if this is eligible for reward points? Or does it HAVE TO BE SmartPay only?

As things are going, it should be eligible for cashback as it most probably falls under utility category.
Whatever it is we will find out in 2 days once you tell us (I hope you do).

I got a notification for a CC bill payment scheduled for autopay today for a payment last date for 7th.

I intercepted the process by pressing the pay now button, but it asked for OTP and I pressed cancel.

Now, it seems the auto billpay is paused for this bill.

Am I correct?
