Guys, did anyone make a payment of more than 1L using the smartpay? For me, i got an SMS that the payment got declined as the amount crosses the RBI set limit and it requires an approval from me. But, when i open the link and click confirm, it says internal error or bill not found.

Not sure what the problem is. I tried to delete the biller and add it again.

Not sure about the RBI condition.
Someone who made a payment above Rs 1 lac can confirm.

As the bill is already generated, no use to add biller again. Make payment with other methods.
For future Delete and re-add the biller 7-10 days before bill generation. Then it should become continuous.

So I had 3 payment scheduled and I was very happy that it will go through the payment smoothly. But as a surprise 2 got failed and 1 success. I had enough balance and limit also set as maximum. Contacted customer care they had not any clue. They simply raised a ticket. Decline reason in sms and email is different. Any one have faced this issue or any idea what could be the reason?

I had scheduled 4 transactions. Two went through (<5000) and two failed (>40000)
 
Guys, generally after the amount debits in early morning at 6AM, we get a call from transaction monitoring team for confirmation from HDFC Bank right. What happens if we do not answer that call?

Not sure what went wrong for you, maybe check the transaction limit on the DC.

All my bills processed without an issue. I added couple of them after bill generation.

My CCs and their amounts:

Axis Airtel: 4.5K
Axis MyZone: 1.8K
Axis FK: 24K
ICICI Apay: 2K
SBI CB: 24K
Yes Klick: 13K

Only got the call for Axis FK but all of these processed without an issue.

In most cases missing that call leads to temporary block on debit card which can be lifted only by replying to the mail or call CC. I faced blockage twice last year and once this year for amt more than 50K. 🤣 After that HDFC got a threatening call from my side and now even if someone misuse my card they wont call.
