advance tax using credit card

I am trying to pay advance tax
payment failing for idfc credit card. customer care saying commercial transaction. I tried with 1 lakh and 280000. payment failing for 50k transaction also.

"Transaction of INR 50472.00 on your IDFC FIRST Bank Credit Card ending with XXXX at Tin 2 0 was declined."

Credit cards that I hold. Is any card more rewarding in my profile. payment amount 282000

Facing similar issue with IDFC Wealth CC
However I was able to pay in March 2024 as well
However, post that I am unable to

After 1% approx charges, what's the profit. Say if I pay 50k using select cc?

Edit: Seems no 10X on government payments, so no profit as such. Please correct me if I am wrong

How do you pay advance tax with CC? From which site?

you pay from the ITR portal itself.

Look for e-pay tax at the bottom under quick links. Enter your PAN and Mobile Number and login. You can enter any amount you wish and pay via various options such as CC/DC/NB
