I’m getting this error when I try to pay rent through Mobikwik. Any idea what really happened?

Rent payment on mobikwik using amex stopped a couple of months back.
Those who were not affected then is getting affected now.
In short you can’t use amex to pay rent on mobikwik any more, well for now at least !
I thought they had removed the amex logo and then it was back. I don't understand why they list amex as one of the acceptable cards when they ultimately do not wish to pass the transaction.
Mobid**k gimmicks bro. They either want you to use wallet with your amex or hope you use some other card to complete the required rent payment.
They have reduced the wallet load charges though to 2.95% incl gst. I know, it’s still around 0.6% more compared to the rent payment charges !
Bhai aapna Bharat main AmEx ka acceptance ka itna problem hai ki apne ko ungli thoda tera karna padta hain .. ab kya karien log bhi .. issi liye amex is one of the last card issuer remaining who gives points on wallet loads & even on rent payments 🙂 ..because any transaction is business for amex especially because of the high MDR associated with amex cards ..
Btw, do you know that Amex had invested in mobikwik & bought a stake in it in 2015 to help mobikwik grow ? So agar amex ko problem nahi hai mobikwik pe invest karne ke liye hum logo ko kyun taklif hoga bhai amex mobikwik pe use karne ke liye ? 🤣

And this high MDR is the reason for low acceptance of Amex cards 🙂

if there is any way to pay rent via amex, i guess then we can easily reach the milestone in platinum travel card

i asked amex cc directly, they said gpay and phonepay acepts amex for rent, but community here has already tried and denied

whats the issue here? banks are not saying that we shouldn't do rent transactions, they are okay with that and charging txn fee .
Here we are asking them only a way by which we can perform rent txn via their card, even amex webiste has one page for ninfo on rent paymemts via amex credit card. (https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/credit-cards/credit-intel/pay-rent-with-credit-card/)
I think amex may get supported in the upcoming months
