Amex card number issue

From today morning I have observed there is a change in account number of my mrcc card on app. My 4 digit security code is not working whenever I enter for any transaction. When I had chat with amex they told it might be glitch and raised a request for replacment card. I had a first and last nam change due to mb linkage..may be it got triggered to a new account number . Anyone faced similar issue earlier ?

Oh even I got the name swap done but don't see any issue as of now.

Sure just checked and it is the same one. Also used my card yesterday only

That does not mean they won't charge it is normal and pre auths remain for sometime or days but it will be valid for 30days merchant claim the transaction any time any day. Pls check maybe next statement it might show up. It will get posted to your statement very soon.
