Amex Gyftr Devaluation? Multiple numbers not working

Tried buying more than 10K Amazon Vouchers from Gyftr yesterday and post 10K all transactions were getting declined after using a different mobile numbers. Can anyone else confirm the same?

Update:

- Multiple folks have confirmed that their transactions are getting decline, so definitely seems to be true.
- Add-On card will be counted as separate card so you might be able to bypass the 10K limit. I will update this post once I am able to test that myself

Why would you lose interest in lakhs just for infinia? Doesnt make any sense even if FD is one of your asset classes for investments.

Because that money is for FD only.

I am now facing another issue with Amex Gyftr.

Used Primary Number to do 6 x 1K on Gold Card
Used Primary Number to do 1.5K + 2.5K on MRCC

Now trying to use Secondary number to do 2.5K on MRCC and transaction keeps getting failed before Amex OTP screen. Tried using Amex Plat with Secondary number and that is also failing like this only.

Anyone else facing a similar issue?

Because that money is for FD only.

Still may not make sense to expose to one singe bank. Also HDFC FD rates are less than other banks.

Yes. exactly what's happening to me. My primary number is not at all working. Only secondary number is

But how can you assume that my total amount in FDs is only 1cr 😛

Yes I have my cards saved in both primary and secondary number

It's instant wirh base points. Atleasy that's how it is for Air India.

Also MMT via Amex is costlier.

Yeah i got the base points instantly. But yet to receive 5X points. Their TnC says 150 business days so wanted to get a realistic expectation of when we receive it.

I got the bonus points after 120 days or so for my Flipkart transaction via reward multiplier

Seems like a user specific issue, I just tried buying a bunch of different cards and it worked.

Can you try a different mobile number/card and see?

Could be. it's not working specifically with my primary number. I bought a lot with this.

Has anyone able to get this resolved? Gyftr email is giving canned responses. I tried buying Myntra voucher also and that is also failing.

Gyftr basically said I am banned from their website lol. Maybe cause I was buying 50k amazon pay vouchers monthly?

Guess will need to give up my gold and platinum now 🙁

I really don't understand the logic with how they operate.

If you left a loophole and people used it , you fix the loophole and either warn the users or provide a solution on what works and what doesn't work .

Or , give everyone a chance to detach the number tagged to the card on the gyftr website , or even have a login page where we can add cards and see what's what.

Literally 0 communication and then banning phone numbers , especially for the only website that gives accelerated returns , it's the dumbest thing you can do.
