Just got this email for rewards multiplier.

Seems like they changed from 24X from last year to flat 25 per Rs. 100 now. Don't know if it's account specific.

Terms:
• The ongoing Reward Multiplier benefit of 5X points on American Express® Platinum Card and American Express® Gold Card, and 2X points on other American Express® Proprietary Cards will not be applicable.
• A maximum of 25,000 Bonus Membership Rewards® points can be earned in a calendar month.
• Additional Membership Rewards® points will be credited within 120 business days from the date of transaction.

As of my understanding,If the card is activated before the offer starts i think Card should automatically eligible for the offer.

7,554 per gram for 22 karat gold, so for 10 gram , it is 75540 and we will be losing 6816 Rupees. We will get 20589 points for this purchase, @0.33 rate, would break even and @50p we will save around 3K, Not huge discount, but not too bad either.
