He guys I got an upgrade offer for a Platinum charge card, I am requesting your help or suggestions what to do in the 2025 case as per the new pdf.

I need your help in deciding what to do.

These are mostly upgrade offers and not open to new members.

But the good news is the upgrade offers last quite a while so you probably have enough time to apply for any AmEx card right now, transact for a month or two and you might receive the same offer in your email! 🙂

I have an offer to upgrade my Plat Travel and get 150k points (which I guess is standard offer right now).

It says last date Jan 31. I want to get 150k points, do you think if I ignore the offer now, there is a reasonable probability to get a new offer in 1-2 months?

If history repeats, the offer probably gets extended by a month or two more.

Another different way to look at Plat Charge Value. I travel to Mumbai/ Delhi frequently for work and generally prefer to grab q drink or 2 before my flight. Given that a drink at any airport restaurant is about 1k (approx), 3 visits to centurion a month (say 5-6 drinks total will pay my Amex plat annual fee).

I couldn't find one, it would be great to have one. If no one does, I will start one a few months after I get the card and have explored is a little.

I more question if someone can help. I referred my wife for Plat Travel with increased bonus of 12k (I think). If I upgrade now, will I lose the referral bonus?
Also will my current points convert to Plat charge or I must use them before I upgrade
