Annual Fees Issue on PNB RuPay Platinum Credit Card

I applied and got this PNB RuPay Platinum Credit Card a year back. When I applied to till date on their website its clearly mentioned "No annual and joining fee (if card is used one in a quarter)". I use this card everyday for UPI transactions and average monthly spend on this card is Rs. 2000-3000. I didn't had to pay any joining fees but now they've added annual fees of Rs.500 + 90 IGST on current statement.

I've already tried to reach PNB Customer Care No 1800 180 2345 multiple times but no one picks it up. Please suggest how to remove this fees.

PNB is atleast better than other PSU banks

Main likh ke ke de sakta hu ki SBI lead karega. Are jitna PNB ka branch nhi hai uthna toh SBI ka hai. Aur SBI ek bank nhi hai theen char bank mila ke bana hai. SBI is far better than your PNB.

PNB bhi Oriental Bank of commerce nd United Bank of India me merge hokar bana h..and PNB is leveling up it's credit card game lately.

Whenever I call PNB customer care team, they put me on 1-3 person queue and the estimated time to answer is always less than one minute where as they take at least 5 mins to answer. But they do pick every time.

My experience with pnb was worst. I went there to open a savings account for my mother a while ago and the girl was like ye photocopy ese karke lao, ye aadhar card ki photocopy thik se nhi hai. I got out from there and opened the account in Bob instead.

Well recently both ubi and obc got merged with pnb. Of the two, the ubi employees are the worst. So you may have gone to the ubi converted pnb branch and expected the behavior.

Same happened with my card 590 rs deducted.i mailed them two days back but still no reply. shall i have to call the customer care too?

At the end of PNB rupay select card, I got the annual fees+gst. Send the customer care email to waive it. Lets see as how much time it takes. My guess is that they are doing intentionally so that few customers will overlook this charges and clear total dues. That is fraud but may be intentional.

Did you get it reversed ? I just saw my statement and there is a 750 + 150 charges annual fees .which email id have you sent the email ?

Got it reversed within 1 week after raising in pnbcard portal helpdesk.
