Anyone got HDFC Core Card as a Second Card after having HDFC Tata Neu card as their first ever (Debut) Card

Want to know if anyone got (either thru pre approved / online/ offline) a HDFC core card like regalia, Millinea etc as their 2nd card after having the Tata Neu Card as their first ever card?

If anyone got a card like this, then it would be contrary to the following HDFC's advice in response to my question regard the same subject matter...

I am in similar boat. Got HDFC Swiggy.Tried getting Tata Neu Card. They accepted application but it was put in review. 2-3 days later I get mail that they won't be giving Tata Neu but I can send my docs to Chennai for LE.
Shifting all my UPI to HDFC.

I applied via an agent and said to her that I don't have any hdfc card. Application was via C2C method. I will recieved the card tomorrow. I don't know the limit but the card is dispatched.

after 6 months form closing the card, you can apply for HDFC core card. it would be best if you get the core card first then go for co-branded card

I am also in the same boat, got Tata neu + as first card from hdfc now they wont let me get DCB or any other core card, thinking of closing this card and then applying through agent for dcb.

An update on this:
I closed Neu+ mid November, applied for DCB metal (offline branch application) mid December and got it approved.

I have also asked for limit enhancement by email & attached ITR. If they don't increase then I will close tata neu card and after 3 months will apply for DCB or equivalent.

7 Months Millennia.

Neu app.

I have closed Neu card after 3 Months because it was FYF only 😂

You will have to close Neu card or mail them to convert neu card to any core card

My trip was good.

Looking at the quote of the post, suddenly I didn't remember the context as it was almost 10 months old. Yes I have got solution as I am holding Infinia now.

Yes, got the same reply from grievance that you we are not providing 2 HDFC card to customer. Will wait for 6-7 months, or will apply from wife's account (moving fund to her accout, it will be her first card from hdfc ) .any suggetion?

Did you apply?
Because pre-approved won't come if you already hold noncore card for core card. Somebody shared that applying from branch works

Will wait for sometime and then will apply from branch or from my wife's account (showing preapproved for regalia privilege) .
